Cross country skiing

As soon as the weather allows snow can be made in a snowmaking machine and at the right temperature it is possible to create a 4,2 km long cross country skiing track with artificial snow. Nybro ski club takes care of the tracks and through the club you can get help with waxing, ski techniques, and other practical things for your skiing. The artificial snow track is usually open from the end of December to the middle of March.

If you feel a bit cold after some time in the track or maybe just want a break you can visit the heat cottage and there you will find changing rooms, toilets, showers and sauna. Close by the heat cottage are also several barbeque areas where you can enjoy your pick nick.

You can find updated information about the cross country skiing track on Nybro Ski club’s web-page.

If you don’t have your own skiing equipment but you want to try out cross country skiing, you can hire complete equipment through Nybro Slalom club.
